Fujifilm Launches New Camera in X100 Series

The Fujifilm X100V is the company's latest flagship camera in the X100 series. It is also the fifth iteration since the first X100, which was first introduced almost ten years ago. The compact camera is equipped with 26MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor that uses a back illuminated design to maximise quality and dynamic range.

It also comes with an Advance Hybrid Viewfinder that has the ability to switch between a 0.52x magnification optical viewfinder (OVF) and a 3.69M dot OLED electronic viewfinder, depending on one's preference. According to the company, the 23mm f/2 lenss has been redidesigned to improve close-up and corner performance. The viewfinder is OLED panel insted of an LCD one.

The X100V is capable of recording 4K video up to 30fps or capture 120fps at 1080p in order to create super slow motion effects. Additionally, one can also make use of shooting functions, such as Monochrome Adjustments and Colour Chrome.

It has 3-inch tilting LCD screen with 1,620,000 screen dots. Auto focus features include fade detection, tracking and phase detect. The company says the camera can be weather sealed provided that one attaches the AR-X100 filter ring and a filter to the front of the lens.
